Upon resurrection, Erik now has a soulbond with Pierce. He shares Pierce's emotions, feels the physical effects of Pierce's pain, and being away from Pierce for too long makes his body decompose like a corpse again. Additionally, once a month Erik's vision goes blurry for a full 24hrs — anyone looking at him will see branching veins of black along his sclera, just making a prickly appearance on the corners of his eyes.
