Once per month, seemingly at random, Jace’s skin will be afflicted by the same cold, clammy sensation of being submerged in water. He is struck by the sensation of feeling damp, or covered in a thin layer of water, and begins to notice what looks like small, beaded ink droplets forming on his skin. If touched, these droplets feel inexplicably like thick sludge in texture.
