THE LIBRARY
The Library is an entity with a seemingly endless reach where knowledge and collection are concerned. It's a great tool to get what you want in theory, when it feels like being useful. Oftentimes it doesn't, or will demand something else in return. If too many requests come in, the Library will close for awhile, so we can play catch up.
Additionally, mods respond to the Library requests TWICE A MONTH. Keeping that in mind, Library requests should not be time sensitive, or important for plot motion.
UPDATE 11/16: for ease's sake we've enforced these rules to keep the Library more streamlined:
1. No weaponsTo start, have your character fill out this request card at the Library's pneumatic tube:
2. No pets
3. No vehicles
4. There is no need to request books (unless they're specialty titles from a character's world, or you want a reaction from the Library). Whatever title or topic they're looking for, the Library seems to draw them to the right shelf.

YOUR REQUEST: A book called Bear by someone that sounds like Madeleine l'Engle but it definitely isn't by the author of A Wrinkle in Time! It's about a woman named Lou and a bear that has no name I don't think??? He is the island's resident pet and they become companions kind of.
[ she's so close to the right author but she doesn't think she is close enough so she adds a hastily post script, scribbled very small: ]
PS: no worries if you can't find it! But maybe Charlie and the Chocolate Factory then? THANKS

[ Why have one when you can have both? Bear and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are both sent along, along with a couple few very real candies from the book: 1. Rainbow Drops: Suck them and You Can Spit in Six Different Colours, 2. Invisible Chocolate Bars for Eating in Class, 3. Hot Ice Creams for Cold Days, and 4. Eatable Marshmallow Pillows. ]
