𝐈'𝐕𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖 𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 ▣ the library
THE LIBRARY
The Library is an entity with a seemingly endless reach where knowledge and collection are concerned. It's a great tool to get what you want in theory, when it feels like being useful. Oftentimes it doesn't, or will demand something else in return. If too many requests come in, the Library will close for awhile, so we can play catch up.
Additionally, mods respond to the Library requests TWICE A MONTH. Keeping that in mind, Library requests should not be time sensitive, or important for plot motion.
UPDATE 11/16: for ease's sake we've enforced these rules to keep the Library more streamlined:
1. No weaponsTo start, have your character fill out this request card at the Library's pneumatic tube:
2. No pets
3. No vehicles
4. There is no need to request books (unless they're specialty titles from a character's world, or you want a reaction from the Library). Whatever title or topic they're looking for, the Library seems to draw them to the right shelf.
no subject
[ With a suspicious lack of delay, the tube returns to Hawk with the items he requested: several books ranging across space and time and universes about the nature, lore, and lives of werewolves, from outright hypothetical and grossly overexaggerated smut, to a published biography on a werewolf titled Interview With The Werewolf and her sire-like bond with a blond little wolfwoman. All the books come with stretchy fabric book covers, which are magically warded when on a book to make the pages inside look completely blank. The chains come in the dimensions requested inside a wooden box for safe keeping, though the links appear to be etched with some ancient looking runes, the purpose of which is unknown. Lastly, there is a calendar for him with the phases of the moon marked out with a cartoon drawing of bikini clad breasts — fully covered is a new moon, and, well. The opposite is a full moon.
In addition to his requests, the Library wants to give him something a little extra, to show it's appreciation. In a velvet pouch, there sits a ludicrously expensive toy for his enjoyment. Remember to enjoy yourself sometimes! All work and no play makes Hawk a dull boy. ]
