THE LIBRARY
The Library is an entity with a seemingly endless reach where knowledge and collection are concerned. It's a great tool to get what you want in theory, when it feels like being useful. Oftentimes it doesn't, or will demand something else in return. If too many requests come in, the Library will close for awhile, so we can play catch up.
Additionally, mods respond to the Library requests TWICE A MONTH. Keeping that in mind, Library requests should not be time sensitive, or important for plot motion.
UPDATE 11/16: for ease's sake we've enforced these rules to keep the Library more streamlined:
1. No weaponsTo start, have your character fill out this request card at the Library's pneumatic tube:
2. No pets
3. No vehicles
4. There is no need to request books (unless they're specialty titles from a character's world, or you want a reaction from the Library). Whatever title or topic they're looking for, the Library seems to draw them to the right shelf.

YOUR REQUEST: Dear Library,
I was wondering if it might be possible to be given a friend from home. My bonded dragon, Dreamfyre, is too large to be comfortably and safely housed in the manor, of that I am aware. When she was a hatchling, however, she was about the size of a house cat and could ride on the shoulders of people and would be a manageable size here. I think she would like it here as much as I do, and I get terribly sad thinking of her home alone without me. I'd like to show her the lake and the forest. Even if it's only for a short time, may you grant her here to me, so I may show her that I am alright? Even for just a day or two, I would like that greatly and be quite grateful.
With much thanks,
Queen Helaena Targaryen
[she doodles the three-headed dragon sigil of the Targaryens in the corner too for good measure]

[ All around Helaena, the Library shudders and quakes, dust falling from the high ceilings, an acrid scent briefly filling her nose. Then, through the tube β a darkly shimmering dragonβs egg comes carefully down to land in her waiting hand. It doesnβt take long at all to hatch there in her hands, but once the shell cracks open, thereβs no hatchling to be found in the glittering, smoky cloud that rises and dissipates in the air. Instead, Helaena will be overcome with a sense of confusion and dread, losing her ability to navigate the manor and to properly distinguish fact from falsehood. These effects will dissipate within one week.
Apparently, there are consequences for breaking the Libraryβs rules for requests! ]
