AUGUST 2024
CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: The resident newbie, so still getting her into the swing of things, but she and Alicent are about to have their re-re-reunion at the lake (which is laden with A LOT of different emotion this time since Rhaenyra made her entrance at the baths, promptly went into a canon update coma, and then woke up with all these new memories). She's feeling particularly somber and resigned to her overall role in things and the duties that await her back home, especially since she's coming off of that big Dragonstone conversation, but the opportunities she'll have to let her hair down, so to speak, may be too difficult to resist.
SEPTEMBER 2024
CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: Rhaenyra had the most active month out of the trio for a change, in part because the floodgates apparently opened up and let in a ton of castmates from both present and future. She and Daemon had a moonlit reunion in the gardens (complete with banging), Jace taught her how to play Candy Crush, and Baela earned even more of her respect and admiration by talking Jace and Aemond down from coming to blows. She also indulged in some girlkissing (and more) with Alicent, but, with more of their family around, has been regrettably keeping her distance (until something happens to make them kiss again). Met Tim at the pool party and had many chats with new people on Butler, chief among them Daenerys, who she's planning to invite over for tea very soon.
OCTOBER 2024
CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: October was rough for Rhaenyra, to put it mildly. First dying herself, then also losing Jace, Baela, and Daemon over the playing of this game? It's safe to say that Rhaenyra is going into the latter part of this year a little more appreciative of what she has. Ironically, Werewolf has seemed to tighten allegiances between the Targaryens, regardless of whichever side they were on back home, so it'll be interesting to see how those dynamics continue to play out, especially in the wake of some particularly emotional deaths and resurrections and more deaths (and maybe a love confession or two). At the very least, Rhaenyra's got a wedding to plan...
NOVEMBER 2024
CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: November was a quieter month for Rhaenyra, but that's just the way she likes it compared to the hell Werewolf had been. The tourney brought several opportunities to meet some new faces (like Wanda), she and Daemon are on stronger footing than ever (even though they lost at couples' tennis, sad!), and she and Alicent also reasserted their bond in the chapel, with lots of complex feelings as always. Oh, and she officially ran into Aegon, but you can probably imagine how well that interaction went.
DECEMBER 2024
CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: The good? Making out with her husband like a couple of horny teenagers under the mistletoe. The bad? Alicent died :(
JANUARY 2025
CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: Rhaenyra was a bit more tender this month, in part as a consequence of secretly meeting with Embry to mourn Alicent, Vampicent's return from the dead and their fireside confessions, and the discovery that Alicent had attacked Daemon, effectively breaking the peace treaty they'd previously established. With that in mind, she's going to be a little more protective of those on Team Black and a lot more distrustful of the Greens in the coming months (or until she and Alicent have another ill-advised secret hookup). She needs a strong opportunity to really cut loose, though, and not just behind closed doors. Someone help this dragon queen fly her freak flag out in the open!
FEBRUARY 2025
CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: Checking in from hiatus; Rhaenyra did her best not to freeze after losing her inherent Targ blood-warming ability, with mixed results!
MARCH 2025
CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: Rhaenyra dipped into a handful of things as a result of March being insane for me, among them a late-night meeting with a beautiful, mysterious, raven-haired lady and some vaguely inappropriate momson time.
APRIL 2025
CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: Lived her best menswear life at prom when she decided to don a suit instead of a dress โ and ended up dancing with Alina and in a ~private interlude~ with Alicent as a result. On the network, she flirted with Shadowheart, proposed the idea of checking off more kinks with Daemon (including bringing a third home), and dutifully ignored Jace's attempts to inquire about being part of Saltburnt's superlative pool with Alicent and Daemon. (She's also ignoring her own win in that regard, thank you very much.)
MAY 2025
CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: Little quieter with Nyra this month, mostly in anticipation of AU plotting, but she's still kicking around!
JUNE 2025
CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: As a roguish, flirty equestrian, Rhae was arguably living her best life in the AU this month, between running into her former (and relatively unforgettable) fling Alicent, stealing a kiss from Ren in the maze, hooking up with her on-again, off-again Olympian FWB Quentin, and chilling with her old boarding school pal Stefan. It's all resulting in the kinds of dynamics that will be REALLY fun to reconcile with when memories come back.
