CHARACTER JOURNAL:
SUMMARY: spent a majority of her month in Existential Dreadβ’. a conversation with armand sparked her to look more closely at who she is, rather than what she is — which is a question she currently doesn't have an answer for. those feelings of uncertainty were only exacerbated via talks with alia about marriage & the distinction between love and alliances, and alicent on the topic of queenship and its duties, leaving alina and her future at an uncertain crossroads.
other notable encounters include: being disappointed but not surprised after learning of matt's deception. continuing the breeding kink agenda with paul, with who she spent a happy honeymoon period in lockdown with, and falling into a little pattern of domestic bliss with him (she is being so normal about it and him). dipping her toes into trying painting by making requests from the library. fighting about world politics with alexei in public. accidentally homewrecking sanji and nami (π).
